I don't have a glucose monitor just so we're clear! Taking Glucoven (1/day in the morning on an empty stomach) seems to be helping keep me from the highs and lows of sugar. I'm trying to wean off. Stress from Quarantine with 4 kids -11,9,6&3!- has brought me back to my old vice; foods made of straight carbs. When I started this, it helped to curb that low crash after eating my feelings from the sugar bowl. A week later and I was noticing that I wasn't inclined to go into the kitchen for sweets every 15 mins. 3 weeks and I wasn't eating then except for at meals.
