Nervoquil Supplement Facts

At Nutreance, safety and effectiveness are paramount in our mission to provide you with innovative natural remedies. That's why Nervoquil has been carefully formulated using only the most effective natural ingredients with the highest safety ratings, according to extensive clinical research.

But it's not enough to simply combine dietary supplements recommended by scientific studies into a formula. The quality of the ingredients that make up any natural remedy are critical to its overall efficacy.

Just as you can buy fresh fruits or vegetables from a farmer's market that are of much higher quality than at your local supermarket, not all ingredients are created equal. In the same way, you may be able to purchase the same ingredient from two different suppliers, but the purity and potency may be entirely different. For this reason, we thoroughly vet our raw material suppliers to ensure that our natural remedies are comprised of only the highest quality ingredients.

Folate (as 600 mcg folic acid) A water-soluble B vitamin found in leafy greens, legumes, and citrus, folate, also known as vitamin B9, is best known as an essential building block for healthy cell division. In the context of nerve health, its active form helps keep homocysteine in a healthy range and supports the nitric oxide that keeps the tiny blood vessels feeding your nerves open and flowing. A large cohort study found that adults with low folate levels faced a significantly higher risk of developing peripheral neuropathy.[1]
Vitamin B12 (as methylcobalamin) Methylcobalamin is the bioactive form of vitamin B12, a nutrient so central to the nervous system that a deficiency alone can unravel the protective sheath surrounding your nerves. It supplies the methyl groups your body uses to build and maintain myelin, the insulating layer that allows nerve signals to travel quickly and cleanly. A meta-analysis of fifteen clinical trials found that methylcobalamin improved nerve symptoms, with the greatest benefit when combined with other nerve-supporting nutrients.[2]
Biotin Biotin, also known as vitamin B7, is a water-soluble cofactor that powers the enzymes responsible for fatty-acid synthesis and cellular energy production. Because the myelin sheath is built largely from lipids, biotin plays a supporting role in maintaining nerve insulation while also helping metabolically demanding nerve cells generate the energy they run on. An early clinical report found that high-dose biotin produced marked improvement in the symptoms of peripheral neuropathy within four to eight weeks.[3]
Chromium (as chromium bisglycinate) (Albion®) Chromium is an essential trace mineral that the body uses to fine-tune the way insulin moves glucose out of the bloodstream and into cells. Since elevated blood sugar levels are one of the primary drivers of nerve damage, supporting healthy glucose metabolism helps protect the metabolic environment that nerves depend on. A meta-analysis of twenty-eight clinical trials found that chromium supplementation significantly improved fasting glucose and long-term blood sugar control.[4]
Benfotiamine Benfotiamine is a fat-soluble form of vitamin B1 (thiamine) that absorbs far better than the standard water-soluble version, allowing it to reach the tissues that need it most. Once inside the cell it activates an enzyme that diverts excess sugar away from the damaging pathways which form advanced glycation end-products and fray delicate nerve fibers and their surrounding blood vessels. A clinical trial found that benfotiamine improved both neuropathy symptom scores and pain in as little as three weeks.[5]
Alpha Lipoic Acid Alpha Lipoic acid is a sulfur-containing compound made naturally by the body and the most thoroughly studied antioxidant for nerve health, prized because it dissolves in both water and fat and can reach every part of the cell. It neutralizes the free radicals that fray nerve fibers, recharges other antioxidants like vitamins C and E, and helps preserve the blood flow that delivers oxygen and nutrients to the nerves. A clinical trial found that 600 mg of oral alpha lipoic acid per day meaningfully reduced burning, pain, prickling, and numbness.[6]
Acetyl L-Carnitine HCl Acetyl L-Carnitine is the acetylated form of L-carnitine, an amino-acid derivative that readily slips into the mitochondria where it helps convert fatty acids into the energy that nerve cells demand. Beyond fueling tired nerves, it supports nerve growth factor and the regeneration of damaged nerve fibers. An analysis of two year-long clinical trials found that acetyl-L-carnitine promoted nerve-fiber regeneration and reduced pain, with the strongest effect at higher doses.[7]
Vegetable Capsule Many supplements that you purchase from the store use gelatin capsules to deliver their active ingredients. Not only are these capsules not vegetarian, as they are made from animal parts, but they are also often colored with harmful dyes to obscure their inner contents. But Nervoquil uses only vegan, non-GMO vegetable capsules made from plant cellulose and contain no additional additives like colors or dyes. This ensures that our product is sensitive to dietary restrictions and completely natural for everyone to take.
Microcrystalline Cellulose Microcrystalline cellulose, or wood pulp, is present in each capsule of Nervoquil as a natural filler. It is used to fill up any empty space in the capsule that might result after all of the other active and inactive ingredients are added. This prevents the capsules from denting while in transit.
Magnesium Stearate Magnesium stearate is present in trace amounts in nearly all capsule and tablet products. It is primarily used as a lubricant that makes the pill easier to swallow and allows it to slide more easily down your digestive tract. It also serves an important purpose as an excipient, meaning that it improves the solubility of the active ingredients and assists your body in absorbing the capsule contents.
