Glucoven Supplement Facts

At Nutreance, safety and effectiveness are paramount in our mission to provide you with innovative natural remedies. That's why Glucoven has been carefully formulated using only the most effective natural ingredients with the highest safety ratings, according to extensive clinical research.

But it's not enough to simply combine dietary supplements recommended by scientific studies into a formula. The quality of the ingredients that make up any natural remedy are critical to its overall efficacy.

Just as you can buy fresh fruits or vegetables from a farmer's market that are of much higher quality than at your local supermarket, not all ingredients are created equal. In the same way, you may be able to purchase the same ingredient from two different suppliers, but the purity and potency may be entirely different. For this reason, we thoroughly vet our raw material suppliers to ensure that our natural remedies are comprised of only the highest quality ingredients.

Chromium Amino Acid Chelate One of the most commonly occurring minerals in the earth's crust and seawater, chromium is an "essential trace element," a natural mineral which is crucial to human health in small doses. Science has firmly established chromium's important role in glucose metabolism, and research has confirmed that the mineral can improve metabolic hormone sensitivity and reduce blood sugar levels. In one clinical study published in 2004, twice daily chromium supplementation resulted in a 21% reduction in blood sugar levels within 3 weeks.[1]
Alpha Lipoic Acid A naturally occurring compound made in the body, alpha lipoic acid serves an essential role in vital functions at the cellular level, particularly in energy production. Research has shown this antioxidant is effective in lowering blood sugar levels in humans, while also reducing metabolic hormone resistance. In one study conducted in 1997, alpha lipoic acid was found to reduce blood glucose levels by up to 64%.[2]
Cinnamon 4:1 Extract Mostly thought of as an aromatic spice used in breakfast cereals and sweet baked goods, cinnamon has a history of being used for thousands of years in natural medicine. Researchers have found that cinnamon can imitate the effects of metabolic hormones by helping transport glucose from blood into cells, thereby reducing blood sugar levels. A 2015 clinical study found that cinnamon increased metabolic hormone sensitivity and glucose utilization the most of all 49 natural compounds tested.[3]
Berberine HCl A naturally occurring alkaloid found in many different types of plants and shrubs, berberine has a long history of use in traditional Chinese medicine for a variety of digestive ailments. Most importantly, a large body of evidence has been established for its ability to enhance metabolic hormone sensitivity, help the body break down sugar, and even reduce glucose production in the liver. In 2008, a clinical study determined that within 1 week of daily berberine supplementation, metabolic hormone sensitivity was improved by 44.7%.[4]
Bitter Melon Fruit 7% Extract Also known as bitter gourd or wild cucumber, bitter melon is a fruit which, as its name indicates, grows more and more bitter as it ripens. A common culinary ingredient in East Asian cuisines, bitter melon has also been used extensively in traditional medicine for its ability to reduce blood sugar levels. A 2017 study found that bitter melon enhanced metabolic hormone sensitivity, improving glucose absorption from the bloodstream.[5]
Dicalcium Phosphate Dicalcium phosphate is commonly used in the production of tablets and capsules as a "flow agent." It is added during the bottling process to ensure that powdered capsule ingredients do not clump together but instead flow through the machinery with ease. This is essential to provide a consistent, uniformly mixed product.
Vegetable Capsule Many supplements that you purchase from the store use gelatin capsules to deliver their active ingredients. Not only are these capsules not vegetarian, as they are made from animal parts, but they are also often colored with harmful dyes to obscure their inner contents. But Glucoven uses only vegan, non-GMO vegetable capsules made from plant cellulose and contain no additional additives like colors or dyes. This ensures that our product is sensitive to dietary restrictions and completely natural for everyone to take.
Magnesium Stearate Magnesium stearate is present in trace amounts in nearly all capsule and tablet products. It is primarily used as a lubricant that makes the pill easier to swallow and allows it to slide more easily down your digestive tract. It also serves an important purpose as an excipient, meaning that it improves the solubility of the active ingredients and assists your body in absorbing the capsule contents.
Silica Silica is a naturally occurring compound found naturally in water, plants, animals, and the earth. Like magnesium stearate, it serves as an anticaking agent in the bottling process to prevent the powdered ingredients in each capsule from sticking together or to the encapsulation machines. This ensures that each capsule has the appropriate quantity of active ingredients as quoted on the supplement facts label.
